I have taught various English classes in high school for eleven years. It's enjoyable to help students get better at writing and thinking. I'm still helping students in these areas while learning film making and video production. Areas I can help in include reading, literature, essay editing, grammar, public speaking, and AP English language and composition. My belief is all people are better at writing and storytelling than they think; I want to help as many people as I can realize this.Originally from an agricultural town near Reno, Nevada, I spent time in Los Angeles and now live in Beaver Creek, Oregon, near Portland. I have a love for language and recently published a poetry book. In college, I attended California State University - San Marcos. Aside from teaching/tutoring, poetry, and film making, I enjoy visual art, music, baking, hiking, camping, fly fishing, and basketball.
