My passion is in writing, teaching others to express themselves through the written word, and delivering meaningful experiences to the world. I have been building my own writing skills for decades. I've had poetry and short stories published and I've received awards for my short stories and screenplays. While I personally love to write, I also love working with students to help develop their own skills. To that end I have worked as a personal tutor, an adjunct professor, and taught workshops at nearby charter schools. Some of the courses I tutor include writing, reading, literature, English grammar and syntax, 2D art, drawing, public speaking, English, art, Spanish 1 & 2, languages, and comparative literature. I also enjoy working with ESL/ELL students who are working to master English as a second language. Throughout my time working with students, I have realized that there are no bad writers. Those students who have yet to develop a love and talent for writing simply need more guidance and practice to build their skills. I love getting to know my students and helping them develop the confidence in themselves to share their own story, experiences, and opinions in a way that accurately convey the message they wish to deliver to the world.
